It started with underwear. It became something bigger.
VanJohan originally started as Rich's underwear business. The goal was simple, make a damn good pair of underwear that guys would actually want to wear.
Then life changed.
After the loss of our younger brother, we (Nick and Rich) found ourselves coming together in a different way. We leaned on each other and the things we'd always enjoyed together... sports, competition, a few beers, arguing over who's right and giving each other a hard time.
That's when we decided to take VanJohan on together as co-owners.
What started as an underwear business became something we could build together. We already had a product, a shared sense of humour and plenty of things to talk about. So we decided to bring all of that into the brand.
We're not here to pretend we have life figured out. We're two brothers building something together, having some fun along the way and seeing where it takes us.

First things first, we're here to make damn good underwear.

But we didn't want VanJohan to be just another underwear company asking you to buy another pair. We wanted to build a brand with some personality.
Think sports debates, fantasy football, betting picks, beer reviews, friendly competition and the occasional argument that probably should've ended ten minutes ago.
We'll celebrate the wins, own the bad picks and give each other plenty of grief along the way. We're brothers. It's kind of our thing.

At its heart, VanJohan is about bringing people together over the things they enjoy. The games, the laughs, the debates, the wins, the losses and the stories that come out of all of them.
